Young Disciple Ministry Opportunities

 

 

9:30 Education Hour:
 
Nursery (0-24 mos.)
Commitment: Every Sunday, September-June
Provide supervision & care for babies
No preparation is necessary
 
Wee Wisdom (2-3 years old) & 4-5 Year Old Classes
Commitment: Every Sunday, September-June
Teacher tells Bible & application stories & facilitates learning activities
Assistant provides support help in supervision, serves snack, and takes attendance
 
Grade 1-5 Amazing Creations
Commitment: Every Sunday; September-June
Facilitates and/or assist in large group sessions
Facilitates the assigned age group in the project and shepherding time
 
Grade 6
Commitment:  Every Sunday; September-June
Prepares and teaches lesson
 
10:30 Concurrent w/ Worship Service:
 
Nursery (0-24 mos.)
Commitment: Staff serves one Sunday every 8-9 weeks
Provide supervision & care for babies

Wee Wisdom Class (2-3 years old)
Commitment: Serve one Sunday every 8-9 weeks
Teacher introduces child to the letter of the day and facilitates activities promoting the day’s letter
Assistant provides support help in supervision, serves snack, and takes attendance

Preschool/Kindergarten Class (4-5 years old)
Commitment: Serve one Sunday every 8-9 weeks
Teacher tells Bible & application stories & facilitates learning activities
Assistant provides support help in supervision, serves snack, and takes attendance
 
Kid’s Church (1-3 Grades)
Commitments: Serve one Sunday every 8-9 weeks
Class time is only during the sermon
Prepares and teaches lesson w/ activities each week
